Taste of Marietta is an annual food festival always held the last Sunday in April that showcases Cobb County restaurants and caterers. It is one of the largest and longest running food festivals in Atlanta metro and has become a favorite annual tradition among local residents and visitors.
Taste of Marietta is held in the heart of the city at the Historic Marietta Square. The Square in the spring is a beautiful backdrop for the festival. While enjoying the delicious food and fun, you can also experience Marietta’s history and culture with unique shops and museums.
Admission to the festival is FREE. The only costs are the cost of food – ‘tastes’ ranging from $2.00 to $9.00 – and drinks and some activities in the Kids Alley.
No. Unlike other food festivals, Taste of Marietta is a cash-based festival. You pay the individual restaurant booths for their ‘tastes’ (between $2.00-$9.00) and for drinks at the concession stations.
Yes! ATMs will be provided throughout the festival.
Close to 35,000 people attend Taste of Marietta and we are expecting a great crowd again this year.
We request that folks with dogs and other pets please leave them at home where there is adequate shade and water. There is not a place on the festival grounds to accommodate pets. They can leave waste and many young children are frightened around dogs of any size. Thank you for your cooperation!
Around 50+ different restaurants, caterers, and food trucks showcase their best dishes at Taste of Marietta each year.
Lots! We will have musical entertainment all day on stages throughout the festival, fun and games in the Kids Alley, and a food judging competition. In addition to the event festivities, there are the unique shops and museums always present on the Marietta Square.
Taste of Marietta is a project of the Marietta Visitors Bureau in conjunction with the City of Marietta.
Kid’s Alley is the area of Taste of Marietta where kids can be themselves and have fun! There will be multiple moonwalks and games, sand art, face painting and more! Some activities will have a nominal fee.
North, East, West and South Park Square will be closed. In addition, Whitlock Avenue and Mill Street will be closed at the railroad tracks. Church and Cherokee Streets will be closed at Hansell Street. Roswell and Lawrence Streets will be closed at Waddell Street. Also, a one-way portion of Powder Springs Road located directly off the Square will be closed as well as a portion of Atlanta Road leading into the Square.
The Cobb County Parking Deck, all county court lots and the Mill Street lot will be available for parking. Please note, parking is not allowed at church parking lots around the Square. Click here for more information about parkin
